SKYRIS INNOVATIONS (PTY) LTD (“SKYRIS”, “we”, “us”) of 8 Crassula Road, Blouberg, Table View, Cape Town, 7441, South Africa, operates skyris.cc, the website for the SKYRIS weighbridge inventory management platform. We are the responsible party for personal information collected through this website under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA). What we collect
Contact and demo requests. When you submit the form on this site we collect your name, email address, company or site name, and your message.
Usage data. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site: pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and interactions such as clicking a demo button. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally to us.
Server logs. Our hosting infrastructure records standard logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it
We use your details to respond to your enquiry, arrange demonstrations of the SKYRIS platform, and communicate with you about our products and services. We use analytics to improve the site and understand interest in the product. We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone. Our legal bases are your consent (when you submit the form) and our legitimate interest (site security and analytics).
Delivery and retention
Form submissions are delivered to our sales mailbox via our email service provider and retained for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting business relationship. You may ask us to delete your details at any time.
Third-party services on this site
Google Analytics. Used for usage measurement as described above. You can opt out using Google’s browser opt-out add-on or your browser’s tracking controls.
Google Maps. The map in our contact section is loaded from Google and may set Google cookies when displayed.
Google reCAPTCHA. Where enabled on our forms to prevent spam, its use is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Hosting and email. The site is operated on commercial hosting and email infrastructure under standard service agreements.
The SKYRIS platform
This policy covers the skyris.cc website only. Data processed inside the SKYRIS platform itself (weighbridge, inventory, production and financial records) is governed by the service agreement between SKYRIS and each customer, and the customer remains the responsible party for that data.
Cookies
This site uses the minimal cookies required for it to function, plus the analytics and embedded-service cookies described above. We do not use advertising cookies.
Your rights
Under POPIA you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or object to its processing, by emailing sales@skyris.cc. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa).
